GMA Dove Awards（全写为Gospel Music Association Dove Awards，中文译名为福音音乐协会圣鸽奖，一般直接称作Dove Awards或圣鸽奖），是美国福音音乐协会（Gospel Music Association）于1969年开始负责颁发。颁发奖项目的在于奖励及表扬过去的一年中，对福音音乐界有岀色的表现或成就，是福音音乐界上最高荣誉的奖项之一。奖项的范围包括了不同风格的音乐，例如︰流行福音音乐、摇滚福音音乐、饶舌嘻哈福音音乐、乡村福音音乐、传统福音音乐和赞美敬拜音乐。颁发地点是美国田纳西州纳许维尔。由2004年至2006年，福音音乐协会曾经将圣鸽奖的英文由 GMA Dove Awards改称为GMA Music Awards，但是后来又改回GMA Dove Awards。而每一年都有一些新艺人或受欢迎的艺人在颁奖典礼上演出。
争议和批评[ | ]
福音音乐的定义[ | ]
在1998年，美国福音音乐协会关注一些非宗教的作品被编入福音音乐。协会于是给福音音乐颁布一个新的定义，目的是巩固福音音乐的标准。在新定义颁布前，福音音乐只是在一些与基督教书店协会相关的商店出售。在1999年的圣鸽奖，13项提名作品或歌手因为不符合新的福音音乐定义而被取消资格，导致部分歌迷和歌手投诉。
由于投诉的影响，新的定义在1999年颁奖典礼之后被撤回。而在1999年圣鸽奖中受影响的作品或歌手，大部分都能在2000年中取得奖项。
定义的争议在2004年增大。当时，浪行者（Switchfoot）和史黛西·奥瑞克（Stacie Orrico）是主要以非宗教作品获奖的得奖者。浪行者被批评与百威啤酒签署契约，有人认为百威啤酒不应该与提名圣鸽奖的歌手合作。
因为一些最流行的歌手也能凭着非宗教作品获奖，例如︰凯莉·安德伍德和布莱恩·莱特尔（Brian Littrell）都在圣鸽奖中获得主要奖项，争议在2006年继续。另外，传闻指坎耶·韦斯特的饶舌歌曲《Jesus Walks》因为歌曲和纪录含有非法的内容而不被提名圣鸽奖奖项。
