弗朗西斯·畢卡比亞（Francis Picabia，又譯：法蘭西斯．畢卡比亞）於1879年1月22日出生於法國巴黎，其父為一成功的古巴商人。一開始畢卡比亞崇尚印象主義(Impressionism)，後轉而立體主義(Cubism)。約於1909年加入立體主義團體「巴托．拉瓦」集團。1913年，他放棄了立體主義的觀點。1915年後，轉而投向達達主義和超現實主義的運動。
